What's a normal cervix measure?

Early on, not close to labor. Just wondering. I have my Dr's appt tomorrow and I had forgot to ask him what mine measured at last time....

I think average is 4cm long, but "normal" can range from 3-5.

My friend's first baby was six weeks premature and now with her sencond baby when her cervix measure 2.5 cm she will be put on bed rest. She's 30 weeks now and is 3 cm.

If your cervix is short, your doctor will tell you..otherwise, your measurement isnt really important...but 2.5 is the lowest it should be
