So if your baby is 9 months or older are you back to your pre-preg size? I know its different for everyone. I remember when my son was 1 I was back to my size but I was so much smaller back then.
As I pack on the pounds each week with Baby #1 I pray they fall off as easily as I gain them!!!!! I am really hoping breast feeding helps (fingers crossed!)
Girls, let's hear some responses----a nice pregnant lady needs to know if she will ever fit back into her huge closet of clothes!!!!
I packed on some serious lbs with DD#1. I wont say how much...but it did take me around 11 months to lose it all. I didnt really work out to get the weight off, but breastfeeding helped the first 30 really quickly.
With this preg I am on track with gaining about the same, maybe a little less, but I plan on working out hardcore after this one. I did start this time less than I did with #1 so thats good!
I can proudly say that yes, finally I am back to my size. I still have a little work to do but I have gotten my butt to the gym consistently. Now that I know how hard it is to get back I am going to kick my butt a little harder so that it's easier the next time around to get back into shape.
I was back to my pre pregnant size 4 weeks post partum. But I was overweight when I got pregnant. Now that DS is 9 mo old I am able to fit into my skinny clothes that I had not been able to wear for a few years.
I lost all the baby weight and a little more about 2 months after having the twins. I gained about 40 lbs with them. I think breastfeeding helped a ton...and then stress of having 2 helped the rest! I was so excited about getting fun spring and summer clothes...but it looks like I will have to wait another year since I am preggers again! Here's to hoping I can lose the weight again.
No. I held on to 10 lbs until about 2 months ago and then started dropping it... b/c my thyroid levels were messed up! But even now that my thyroid meds are fixed, I'm still losing a little but not as quickly. I've got about 3-4 lbs left until I hit my pre-pregnancy weight.
i have been a pre-pg weight for a couple weeks now. but i am FAR from looking like i did pre-pg. so many clothes will never get worn again. well, not by me. i will be starting a donation bag very soon.
I was already 5 pounds under my pre-preg weight by 2 weeks post partum. I'm not even close to being in my old clothes though. Things have been redistributed
I'm really trying to workout hard, but of course I can't spend as much time on it as I would like. Overall I think I'm doing ok, and I'm trying to be accepting that it's going to take some time to get back into my old clothes.
Caroline is 9 months and I am not back to pre-pg weight. I am still about 8 lbs heavier. I didn't really try to start losing the weight until a couple of months ago (I guess when I realized it just wasn't going to fall off!).
I am 9, almost 10 months pp, and I have about 7-8 lbs to go. I am def carrying a lot more weight in my stomach now though...and in my boobs! I thought it would just fall off from nursing, but that hasn't been the case for me.
