I am taking antibiotics for a sinus infection (that is still raging on) and they gave me a yeast infection. I've been waiting all day for my dr's office to call me back on this one, but was wondering if anyone has had one so far and what they did for it?

Thank you! I knew Monistat was safe, but I wanted to see if y'all did the 1, 3 or 7 day one.
I had one last month. OB gave me a script for the 1 day cream. It was really expensive, but I got it anyway (have to meet the deductible on my insurance). He also gave me a refill, but next time I'll likely just get the 3 day OTC.
Oh and I just wanted to add that whenever I get a script for antibiotics, my doc usually also gives me a script for yeast infection cure or reminds me that yeast infections are likely and to get the OTC stuff if I have symptoms.
I have. My ob wouldn't let me take anything except for the 7 day monistat, which sucked. (It did work, but it took a while to kick in!)
They didn't want me to take the monistat 3 day or anything because that's stronger, and they don't feel it's as safe. Same with the prescription stuff, they wouldn't let me take it.

RIGHT HERE! I have a yeast infection so they gave me a cream to insert everynight for 7 days and then my dr called me today to tell me she's calling in meds for what is a vaginal bacterial infection as well. AWESOME!
