Are you still swaddling your babies when they are rolling onto their bellies? I would think at that point swaddling would become dangerous. Just curious for future reference.
We stopped swaddling before they could roll onto their bellies. I'd assume if you haven't stopped by that time you would want to... it does seem dangerous to me as well.

We were still swaddling. The first time Josie was able to roll herself over swaddled, we stopped swaddling cold turkey. She was OK with it. About a week later, Violet rolled over in her swaddle and she did not do very well with the no swaddling. So we left her arms out for about a week and then my DH stopped it cold turkey again and she was fine with it.
But yes, without the use of their arms due to the swaddling, you are right, it is dangerous.
We stopped swaddling when they rolled in them which was about 5 mos adjusted for my son and 7 mos adjusted for my daughter. For us, we could tell they were doing it because we could hear them fussing over the monitor in the swaddles. By this time they had really good head control so when they rolled over they moved their head to the side.
