One thing that "scares" me about having two kids is the night time stuff... Like, with DS1 I could sleep during the day when he slept, but when HDC2 comes I won't be able to sleep during the day because DS1 will be up.
How does this work? How do you manage and not just pass out from exhaustion?!
Re: Moms of 2...
DS - December 2006
DD - December 2008
It is just easier the second time. I really don't know why. I am ont getting a whole lot of sleep, but I just don't feel like I need it. They do nap for about 30 mintues at the same time, but that is nest time for me:) I also send DD to MDO three days a week so that could be it. Now an infant seems so very easy.
I can't believe i can answer "moms of 2" posts now!
So far, it hasn't been too bad b/c E sleeps pretty well at night. If DD1 still took naps more than once in a blue moon, I'd definitely nap then, but for now I just try to at least rest as much as I can when she's doing something quiet. If I let her watch an episode of "Dora," I lay next to her and try to doze a little...if she's playing in the playroom, I go lay on the couch in there and rest while she plays, etc.
