anyone have gender guessed at nt scan and turn out to be wrong??

Our tech guessed a boy but said that both boys and girls have a thingy down there but it just depends on the angle. anyone have their tech be wrong? i know its probably more likely for them to guess girl and it turn out to be a boy rather then my situation, but just curious!

I know that it has happened in the past on occassion. My ex husbands family didn't like that we found out. We had everything for a boy ready at home. When I was in labor his sister came in the room joking about how they could have been wrong and what would we do with all that boy stuff?! I was about ready to jump out of the bed and strangle her!!!!!!!

yup. guessed boy at 11 weeks, girl at 15 weeks...now we're waiting for the 19 week big U/S. next time I will wait.

At my twelve week ultrasound, my OB guessed that we were having a boy. The nurse in the room said she thought it was a girl. Both said it was way too early to tell, but the OB just knew she had seen a boy. She was wrong, the nurse was right.

This happened to DH's cousin just a few months ago when she gave birth. She was told her whole pregnancy that she was having a girl and suprise she had a boy. EEKS!

i think that at 13w, both look similar down there, but they guessed boy at our NT and ended up being right. I would believe boy that early rather that girl, but both parts are similar looking at time from what ive read/seen.

My friend was told a boy multiple times my her OB... it came out a girl.

At 16 my tech said girl without a doubt. At 20 my tech, different tech, said boy without a doubt. So we're going with boy but neutral. Green is my favorite color so most of the stuff we have is green and the nursery is jungle so I won't feel bad putting a girl in a jungle.

oh wow! so they could be wrong! with ds#2 they were right with their guess at the 13wk u/s but i just can't accept that it is a boy i really feel like its a girl...who knows! probably a boy but we will have to wait and see! thanks ladies!
