Last year Halee would only go to the 2nd step in the pool so I am hoping this will help her like it more. So I go in with Danica but Halee goes in alone. we don't start until May 2nd so we shall see how it goes.
Around here it is sheer craziness to get your kids into swimming lessons. Sign ups are usually early Saturday morning and people stand in line for hours before signups to get their kids in. Is it like that there too?
Thats why I left work. It was 1st day of sign ups and I wanted saturday morning classes. This YMCA just opened up so Im not sure how it usually is around here. I hope they like them or else its a waste of $200
Keira takes swim classes at the YMCA too, she has been most of the winter. She loves it. I made her a program member which is $10 a month but then the classes are $67 instead of the 100 and something. Seems to be worth it so far.
are they in the same class? I've been meaning to find one for DS. I want him comfortable in the water. DD took them already although, I think at 4 they start to focus more on swimming rather than being comfortable in the water/ safety, movements etc.
