And that's the only thing on the "okay" list my doctor gave me to take for headaches! Blah. Woke up with a pounding head and it is NOT going away...making work all the more fun to go through... Ugh. Is it time to go home, yet? ?
how about tylenol, tons of water, and caffeine? Tylenol is such a joke when you actually need something to work! Here, take a sugar pill to help with that headache

No it does not. Tylenol is crap. I don't even bother taking it anymore.
I've been battling a headache that comes and goes throughout the day for 3 weeks now, and nothing will make it go away. Sometimes laying down with a cold compress or an ice pack will help. Maybe give that a try? Hope you feel better!!!!
Tylenol doesn't work. I have been battling headaches since 15 weeks. They aren't quite as horrible, but I still have them. I have tried everything. Including all of my tricks that I used for my migraines (which I have suffered with since I was in my early 20's) i found that the only thing that will get rid of them is trying to go to sleep. Since your at work...I would try the caffeine thing with the tylenol. Sorry your suffering
Drink lots of water, ice your neck with an ice pack.. I googled some great massage points for headaches. It worked for some of the really bad ones I had where I almost was about to call my Dr.
I completely understand. What is worse is that I get migraines and can't take my Imitrex. That has really, really, sucked! Before I had my first OB appointment she told me to call my PCP to see if they could prescribe something else and they actually had the gall to tell me to take ibuprofen. Luckily I knew better. I even asked them if they were sure that ibuprofen was safe and they said yes. When I told my OB about that she said NO WAY.

I know, I can't WAIT to be able to take Advil again.
Although, I find taking Tylenol with a can of Coke works a little bit, like pp's said.
Tylenol is awful, and I get horrible migraines.
