He never stays up the entire time between a feeding. He'll nap for at least an hour (maybe not all at once) between his 3 hour feedings. In the afternoon he'll usually nap for at least 2 hours.
At three weeks? He was awake to eat (and I use the term awake loosely), and actively awake for a couple hours in the evening (and maybe an hour in the morning).
He can usually be awake 1.5-2 hours at a time before he needs a nap. He eats every 3 hours.
DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption

Yes, at three weeks this LO is awake for more time then she should be. I've been up with her for up to 7-8 hrs at a time. She has tummy issues were trying to work through.
When I'm home DD will wake up at 8 or so and go down for an hour nap at around 10 and 1. She takes a long nap (3.5 hrs yesterday) in the afternoon waking up around 5 or 6. In bed between 815 and 845. She loves her sleep.
At my moms (my babysitter) that's another story. It's always loud and lots going on at her house. Four of my siblings still live at home. So if my mom can get her to wind down she puts her in a seperate room to nap. She usually only naps short periods at my moms and doesn't take her long nap. It's harder to get her to bed those nights.
