in one single setting? probably 2 hours straight. BUT, she cried all.day.long! from the moment she woke up til the moment she fell back asleep. she'd take a couple minutes break of where she'd stop, but then she'd start back up again. DD was a VERY fussy newborn.
Longest, about 20 min, his first week home. He was overtired and I couldn't get him back to sleep. DH walked over, turned on the bathroom faucet, and voila, instant stop. *sigh* I was just so tired I forgot that white noise trick, and thank GOD DH remembered
Since, then, the longest he's cried is 5 min nonstop, when he's overtired. Eventually we'll get him to relax again, and then he's out like a light
My DS is not a huge crier at all, so probably the longest in one sitting is 30 minutes--last week. I think it was because his excema was bugging him and he was overtired.
