    from antibiotics.

    from you if you've got in on your boobs and the two of you keep passing it back and forth.

    from just a lack of good bacteria in their system that lets the yeast take over.

    It's not just from antibiotics but that is one of the big ways. Thrush is a yeast infection in the baby's mouth. It is caused by many different ways, just like a vaginal yeast infection is for us. Since a baby's immune system is not at its peak right away, the local area cannot keep the yeast from overtaking the area.
