Short sleeved baby clothes?

All I'm seeing in stores right now are short sleeve/sleeveless summer baby clothes and then long sleeved sleepers.

Carters has the 5-pack wiggle in bodysuits (onesie type) and then matching pants.  What do they expect you to put over the bodysuit? Or do you let your LO go around in short sleeves? I feel like DD would be too cold in short sleeves, and I want to layer, but baby sweaters are so impractical.

We keep our house at 68 degrees until the weather warms up, and I normally wear long sleeves or 3/4 sleeves.

My LO has on a short sleeve onesie right now with a white long sleeve onesie underneath.  We use the Carters white long sleeve ones a lot for layering and with the sleep sacks at night.

If it's not short sleeved weather, then I put a long sleeved side snap tee under his onesie.

I guess it depends on where you live. ?It's in the 80's here right now so a onesie itself is sometimes too hot!

Ds has been wearing cotton sleep n plays cause its too warm for sweaters but too cold or t shirst
