Hug your kids tight!!!!

Last night DH and I went out with some friends, one of which is an undercover cop.   Anyway we got around to talking about the Sandra Cantu case and our cop friend said that he used to do undercover online pedophile stings.  Mind you, he is a huge "macho" type guy who rarely shows his feelings, etc.... He said that after his first job doing undercover pedophile work, he had to quit.  He talked about how he had to infiltrate himself into these very underground forums, gain the trust of these pedophile bastards (which takes months because they're paranoid of cops infiltrating their chat rooms, etc...) and eventually he would get sent videos and pics of child porn so he could snag these people.  He said he saw one video where children as young as 2 months old were being sexually abused.  As he talked about it, he got tears in his eyes and after his first sting he had to get out of it.  He says he also had to get psychological treatment for it, as well.  He didn't go into any detail but he did say that in one video he will never forget the screams of children in the background.  As he said this I wanted to pierce my eardrums with the chopsticks I was eating with. It was horrible.  I kept thinking of my darling baby and wondered how ANYONE could do something like this.  Hug your kids guys.  I know I hugged and kissed mine the minute I got home.

It is so unbelievably sad that this goes on.  I'm crying and holding DS right now.

This is horrible.  I got home depressed and woke up depressed just thinking about it.  He said that most of these videos and pics are taken in Eastern Europe.  I don't know why, and as I said, he didn't go into much detail and the conversation was changed quickly.....  People suck!

It is unthinkable just how incredibly evil some human beings are.  The fact that this goes on in the world - that people could be so sick and so cruel to children - it's just unbelievable.  The perpetrators of these crimes should be rounded up and thrown into a pit somewhere.  Or shark filled waters.

I agree.  And I was watching on TV the other day some prison show on MSNBC where prisoners wanted to kill these pedophiles that were in the prison.  FFS, even criminals draw the line somewhere and cold murderers even see this as a horrific and cruel crime.  I mean, who couldn't.  I understand that usually pedophiles were victimized as children but not all people who were sexually victimized as kids become pedophiles.  I can't wrap my mind around it.

Oh my GOD. This makes me sick.

My h is VERY reluctant to take the baby in the bathroom to change the dipes cause of crap like this.

If this were to happen to any baby I knew (or knew of) I'd kill that bastard in a heart beat.

I am going to be sick with this thought today.
