DD always wants to be attached to my hip, but whenever I am holding her or playing with her she tends to get whiney...anyone else deal with this? Will it go away?
DS whines alot too. I know he is just a baby and he's communicating the only way he can but, man, it's grating sometimes. He bleets like a goat! I'm not going to lie, I am worried this is a precurser to temper tantrums, and the pedi confirmed as much, ie. when I told her what he does, she referred me to a behavior book.
Well, I'll just keep trying to meet his needs though and hope for the best.
She recommended Brazelton's Touchpoint book. I have not read it yet so can't comment. Actually, is this a good time to say HOW in the world do people have time to read books??!!! Seriously, I'm a SAHM and I barely have time for a shower let alone sitting down and reading and properly absorb a book! Am I the only one? Grrr. Guess I'm not a multitasker. We also have sleep issues so I'm with DS 24/7. I WISH I had time to read a book, that was a favorite passtime in my old life. I know that people look down on people that try to employ methods without reading the book but you know what, I'm doing the best I can.

What behavior book did you read? Would you recommend it?
I am thinking the same thing RE temper tantrums! Uh oh
