what you need:
food coloring gel or paste (not liquid!)
sugar
large ziploc bag
butter kinfe
instructions:
fill your ziploc bag halfway with sugar. place desired amount of food coloring gel into sugar with knife. i suggest starting with a small amount since you can always add more but you can't take it away. shake your bag until the color disperses throughout the sugar. you may need to place it on the counter and roll your hands over it to break up some of the clusters.
there you have it! colored sugar! here's a pic of mine. i made lavender in honor of easter. i didn't get all of the clusters out bc i'm going to be putting stuff inside the bucket, so i'm not too worried about them.
