I forgot that it is easter weekend.  Grocery stores here aren't open on Sundays so that means no easter basket for baby's first easter.  OOPS.

That's OK! Sayla's basket just has things that she'd need anyways plus a frog puppet and a book. Pretty basic this year.

Well, I lost my nomination as well then.  I never even thought to get an Easter basket!  *shrugs*  oh well.

Eh, don't beat yourself up over it. It's not like he'll remember, right? I actually feel a little silly getting DS an Easter basket - he'll be more interested in the colored paper grass in the basket than the stuff I - I mean the Easter Bunny - bought for him.

I think you're off the hook- it's your first year overseas. It must be hard to be used to having grocery stores here open 24/7 and then going somewhere that they close!
