ferber question

last night was the first night we tried it.  we are night owls because of dh's job so i played with her, gave her a bath, sang to her and put her down about 1030.  she woke up at about 2 and dh went in there every 10 mins and she finally fell back asleep around 3.  then she woke up again at 4:45.  i got up and fed her and while i was i was thinking i probably shouldn't have.  i will get her to bed earlier tonight to get her on a good schedule but how many times should i let her go?  like if i get her to bed around 9, when is a good time for her to wake up for her feeding?  i feel really dumb asking that but i never had to do this before...ds started sttn at 7 weeks.

I don't think you are supposed to start Ferber until LO is at least 4 months.  I haven't read the book, just got info from here.
