Am I the only one who has friends that are slowly but surely losing contact? I swear just bc I have a baby doesn't mean I can't talk on the phone, do lunch, hang out. Ya know?

    I think people mean well. They don't want to interfere or intrude and they don't want to make you feel bad you can't join them - so they don't ask.  I

    Nope, you are not alone. We're the first of our group to have a baby. Some of our friends are still in college/grad school. I think they might just feel weird and think we have no time for them anymore. Got to make the extra effort to call them and be like "come visit damn it!"

    It's been the opposite for me. DH and I are the first of our friends, and everyone has been so excited for us and setting up weekend dinners to visit and see the baby. Most of them won't have children for a few more years, so Jude is a great outlet for their baby fever.
