NBR- Trip to spa with DH?

DH and I are going on vacation in two weeks back to my hometown.  It will be our two year anniversary while we're there and I was trying to think of something special to do.  He's mentioned a couple times that he'd like to get a massage one day, and recently he said he'd like to try a pedicure (is that strange?).  My hometown has this great day spa that I went to the week leading up to our wedding, so I thought it could be fun if DH and I went and had a nice day together.  I know you don't know my DH, but what do you think?

If my DH would do it with me I'd love it but theres no way in hell I'd ever get him near a saloon unless he was picking me up or something.

I say go for it!  DH and I went away for the weekend a few years ago and did the spa thing--we really enjoyed the couples massage.  I think that it surprises them how much they like it.

If he has mentioned he would like something like that, I say go for it! Thats awesome he would even want to. I have asked mine to come along and do something like that, but he never would. You should enjoy!

I would totally do it!  Just make sure if you want to get a massage that they are qualified to give prenatal massages.  Sounds like heaven!

My DH isn't into it, but a lot guys are. Here in NYC it is sometime half men at the spas, lots of couples. Many guys get manicures, massages and even back facials!

That sounds really nice and relaxing - and massages tend to put some people really in the mood. ?

We'd absolutely to a day at the spa. We have been talking about doing a spa day for our anniversary this year at a great spa here where we live - but we can get a private cabana for the day. If it were not a secluded area for us though, I don't know if DH would want to do it.

You should definitely go for it! And no, it's not strange for a man to want a pedicure. I actually give them to my husband because he doesn't want to go to a spa for it.

Here in LA, guys get pedicures (straight men too). I would LOVE to get a massage with DH at a spa. He'd rather me give him a massage
