DD STTN!!

I've been quite bitter about the fact that DD never sleeps for more that 3 hours straight at night. Esp when it seems like EVERYONE else's baby does, lol. She went to sleep at about 9:00 last night and is still sleeping at 6:00. This is crazy! The only reason I'm up is b/c my boobs were like rocks from not pumping for so long. I know it's a complete fluke, but it's a well-welcomed one

It's not a fluke! She may not do the exact same stretch right away - but it shows she's moving in that direction! My little guy started doing the same thing around the same age and now we consistently get long STTN stretches out of him - 7 and 8 hours (not 10 - 12 like some people but that's OK. We'll take the 7's and 8's!) He did have one tough "wakeful" week again at 4 months - but then settled back into a decent sleeping pattern. Happy for you! Yes

Congrats!! It is amazing how much better you can feel with just alittle bit of extra sleep! Like pp said it may not be a fluke - DD started doing 10 hours around 3 months and except for a brief 4 month wakeful has done it ever since. Now she goes 12 hours!

congrats!! and you are not the only one whose baby didnt STTN! it just seems there are few of us b/c we dont AW a baby that wakes up every 3-4 hrs at night lol
