After you weaned DC...

....did he/she ever try to get some milk again?  DS pulls up my shirt a little sometimes when he's hungry and I'm so worried he's going to do that once I've weaned him off and I'm going to have a breakdown!  We're at 4 feedings a day, sometimes 3, and I imagine we'll be at 2 per day for a while before we completely stop, but this has been on my mind a lot lately.  I'm also worried that DS is going to be interested in nursing when he's sick.

I weaned my daughter around 18 months and she never asked for it again. We were down to just night time feedings and we just skipped it one night while we were traveling and she didn't even complain. Almost as if she forgot it was part of the routine. By the time we got home, it was no big deal at all.

I've heard other people who put a band-aid or something on themselves and tell the child that it's broken or has a boo-boo and they can't nurse. I don't know if that's a good/bad idea, but maybe effective?
