I just need a little pat on the back - I totally cried along with her after I "put her down drowsy" like my book recommended. She's now asleep... and I've only looked in on her about a MILLION times...

I feel ya.  Last night was DS's 1st night.  It is soooo hard!  Good for you for putting her down drowsy.  I have yet to do that.
