Baby sign language

DH and I totally planned on using baby sign language.  We actually used it quite a bit when DS was first born, but then stopped because we knew he wouldn't sign back for quite awhile.   I wish we wouldn't have stopped...anyways if we start doing it more now, how soon will DS pick it up?  Anyone have luck starting sign language a bit later?

We've been doing it really inconsistantly since 6 months.  Like, we'll forget completely for several weeks.  But DS now signs "milk" when I set down to nurse him, and while he is nursing.  And he JUST started signing "diaper change" during his diaper change.  So DH and I are really motivated now to really put some effort into it and teach him more.  Go for it!!
