Babies: 9 - 12 Months

NBR: wildfires in my city.

So we're about 7 miles or so from where all these houses burned down. It's pretty bad. I really feel for all these people who lost their homes.

There is still stuff burning today and the air quality is crap. It's all gray/brown outside my house. I think we'll be staying in today after all.

  • Yeah. It's going the other direction. They were only evactuating within a 1-2 mile radius as far as I could tell yesterday. It's one thing when it's rural areas, but it hit some housing developments and took out quite a few homes.

  • Good Luck!  Be prepared to leave anytime.  We have been evacuated twice in three years.  We were very lucky to have a home both times.  But you just never know.

The 2nd evacuation, we went to bed with the fire 20 miles away and 911 called us at 5 AM when the fire was 200 yards away.  It can happen really fast.

  • Dude, no joke.  It smelled like a campfire here this morning.  I have a sinus infection/sore throat and this is not helping.  I'm glad you guys were okay.  Were you getting nervous at all?
