Cold Turkey from the Bottle Today

The majority of advice I've received is to quit the bottle cold turkey rather than weaning, so we're going for it today. ?It's become more of a concern as DS struggles with ear infections and ENT dr. advised bottles could be contributing. ?DS doesn't really care for milk out of a sippy cup though, so we'll see how well he does. ?Any advice on how or the best way to go about quitting the bottle? ?Also, how long does it take for him to really adopt the new method? ?=) ?9:00 AM is usually his time for his first bottle...so we'll see. ?So far, he's just running around playing!

    Very brave.  I don't think DD would drink enough milk if we quit her cold turkey.  She has no love for the sippy cup. Although, admittedly, I need to try a few more brands/styles.  I'm thinking the straw cup is the move.

    We stopped giving DD her bottle one day and she didn't even notice.  It's been about 3 weeks now and it's going great. She's doing fine with the sippy cups.

    My DD is not a fan of the sippy cup or straw so I am not sure what we are going to do.  I would love to see an update post in a few days.  Please let me know how it goes with the cold turkey.
