Bleeding after internal exam - how long?

I know not everyone does, but those of you that did bleed after an internal exam or transvaginal ultrasound how long did it last for or how long did the doctor say it would last for?

Mine is going on three days today.  It went from brown to bright red.  It is definilty been less than day one but I still hate seeing it and just wish it would go away.

I spotted for 8 days after my first internal exam/transvaginal ultrasound at 7 w 3 d. Because it lasted so long, they brought me in for a second ultrasound, (all was fine with baby!) and I spotted for exactly a week after that. They worry if you spot more than 7 days, or if the bleeding is enough to soak a pad, or it's accompanied by cramping. If you need some reassurance, just call your Dr. Hope all goes well!

I did not have spotting after my sonograms.  Which is definitely strange considering my first sonogram was scheduled because I was spotting!  Though my doctor did say that it was really common.  Like pp, as long as it isn't heavy or lasting too long, you are probably okay.  Since I am a natural worrier, I always call when I'm concerned about anything.

I spotted for 1 day after my internal exam at 8w6d.  It was never heavy, but it was pink spotting.

I had an internal exam when I was 5w 3d for spotting.  The next day I had bright red for about and hour, and then it went away.  Then the next week I had light pink only when wiping, so I called Dr. back and they scheduled an u/s.  Luckily, everything was fine.
