Where are you going on vacation with baby? Where have u gone?

?? ? ? ? I am looking to book a vacation for may and not sure what to do. I want to go to Beaches Turks and Caicos since we normally go to the Sandals properties but hubby doesn't want to leave the country. Plus, what do you do about using carseats in the vans that transport you to the hotels? Any ideas or places you have stayed in the USA?

    we took DD to gulf shores, AL over Christmas.  we're going to a spot just north of myrtle beach in may.

    We took him to San Diego when he was about 5 months old. ?We rented a suite at the Grande Colonial in La Jolla-- it was great to have a bedroom where we could sleep and a living room where we could put DS's crib and a kitchen. ?We also took him to LA for 2 days and stayed in a suite at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills-- sweet hotel but not exactly kid-friendly-- we looked very out of place with all the LA hipsters!

    We rented cars in SD and LA and just put our carseat in that. ?We just held him on the bus that took us to the car rental place just near the airport. ?

    We're going to Hilton Head at the end of the month and staying in my parents' condo, so there will be lots of room and built-in babysitters! :) We love St. John (USVI) and considered going there, but I thought maybe Hilton Head would be a better first trip... shorter plane ride, very family-friendly, etc.

    FWIW, we were in Turks & Caicos last year and it was definitely an island I would feel comfortable bringing DD. Have fun if you decide to go!!
