My cousin who works at a catholic school as a religion teacher and went to school for religion told us yesterday that Lent ends at 8 pm tonight. So if you can hold out that much longer a cheeseburger is yours!

we always thought lent was over on saturday night.

on google, i found message boards people arguing when it actually ends.

Actually, the dates for Lent are often commonly mistaken. Technically according to the General Norms, "Lent runs from Ash Wednesday until the Mass of the Lord's Supper, exclusive" (General Norms 28). This means Lent ends at the beginning of the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday.
