I'm nervous~taking DS to the dermatologist today

DS has had this weird little patch of bumps on his head since he was about 2 months old. They were always just dry, flesh colored, nothing to worry about according to his pediatrician. We went ahead and made an appt. with a dermatologist so he could take care of them. Well then suddenly last week the bumps got infected and blistered up! So DS has been on antibiotics for the past week and his head looks disgusting! It's all scabbed up and swollen and red underneath... At his follow-up with the pedi yesterday, she basically said she doesn't think it's anything "horrible" but we definitely need to find out what these atypical cells are.

 We finally have his appt. this afternoon with the dermatologist to find out what is going on. Wish us luck! I am really nervous and worried about DS! My best friend's sister's 9-month old daughter had a melanoma removed from her cheek a couple months ago!

    I am taking DS to the dermatologist today too. For what we (pedi and I) think is severe eczema. I am a little nervous too...in case it isn't.

    Hopefully, what your DS has is nothing terrible!! Good luck to you!
