Dr Brown's & bottle nipple sizes

DS is on #2 nipples (Dr. Brown's bottles), but at daycare he no longer finishes as much of his bottles before getting bored & distracted and wanting to stop. This is what he was doing before we switched from #1s to #2s.

Do we keep moving to faster flow nipples? How many levels do they have?

The highest they have is 3....its worth a shot. I would try it at home so if its gagging him thats not all they have a daycare that day.

I think there are 3 levels, and a Y-cut nipple.

DD is doing the same thing and I just assumed she was full because we just added a third meal of solids.... I'll be interested to hear other answers.

EDIT: Actually, I just looked it up on the handi craft's website, and it looks like they have a preemie flow nipple, levels 1-4 (regular flow) nipples, and the y-cut.

Actually they go up to level 4 then have the Y cut as well (those are hard to find).  We went up to 3s when he seemed to get bored with eating.  It took a while before he got used to it so we went back and forth (had a 2 on hand if it seemed too much for him) for a little bit.  Now I am debating on going to level 4.
