anyone else's LO have peanut allergy?

DS was just diagnosed and I'm so bummed. Is it really as difficult as I'm anticipating to keep him safe from all peanut products? Will he ever outgrow it? I'm really sad for him :(

    how did your doctor determine this? my BIL has nut allergies so i'm wondering if they'll test ds. just curious. thanks for any info.

    He had an allergy panel done. It' bloodwork that they do to check for the big ones (milk, soy, wheat, egg, nuts, etc.). Mason tested positive for milk (which we already knew), peanuts and dog dander. My pedi suggested the test because we already knew he had a milk intolerance and since we have started solids, he wanted to check for major allergies before we found out the hard way.
