Call your insurance co - it's the easiest way to know for sure! I've heard if it's not covered they typically cost $600 but maybe someone else has an opinion on out of pocket costs.
I looked it up on my insurance company's website. They consider it "medically necessary."
I've been looking on the website and can't find anything.
I have Aetna, it was pretty easy to find. I try to avoid calling if possible, I've heard of people having problems with the company not knowing what they're talking about without procedure codes.

If you call your insurance company, call your OB office first and ask for all CPT codes associated with the NT screening. Agree with pp that insurance companies don't really know what procedures are... unless they have the codes.

Mine cost $250 FYI.?
The procedure code for the ultrasound part is 76813. It shouldn't cost more than $250 out of pocket if your insurance doesn't cover it. :-)
