PSA: Temporal Thermometer & BRU Sale this Friday LIP

Last night DS would not stop crying, and felt a little warm.  So instead of having to strip him down naked and stick a thermometer up his bum, I used our new temporal thermometer.  I love this thing, so quick and easy.

Thanks for the link.  Lots of good sales!!!  I do have a question about the thermometer.  I have one and it doesnt seem to be accurate.  Do you slide it from the center of the head to the hairline like it says to do?  I know that hospitals are starting to use these and they start from the hairline and go accross and down below the ear.  TIA!

I slide it from the middle of the eyebrow to the ear just below the hairline, it seems to be more accurate than the mouth.  The first night I got it DH and I played with it to see what is more accurate. Although I couldn't convince him to stick a stick up his bum to check for accuracy he thought I was serious when I asked him, his face was priceless.

 I slide it across the tempal (sp?), the soft spot on the side of the forehead.  So no, I don't slide it on the forehead much at all.

Ok thanks!  My DD actually had a fever on Tuesday (she has another ear infection) and I had to hold her down to get her temp under the arm.  It was awful!
