My Kitty Died on LO's 1st Birthday...& Ear Inf. #6! UGH

I came home from work yesterday with Odyn, all ready to celebrate his 1st birthday & my hubby had to sit me down & tell me that my little kitty of 13 years, Sweet Pea, aka Peanut, died in her sleep yesterday. He found her at the bottom of the stairs on her side & thought she was sleeping, but she wasn't. I am devastated. I know that sounds pathetic, but she was very special to me. It was really hard to keep a good face on for Odyn & celebrate his b-day with all of the sadness I was feeling. We still had a nice dinner & he got to open a present. Unfortuately at his check up today, he was diagnosed with his 6TH EAR INFECTION! Tomorrow we are going to see the ENT doctor about tubes. He had to have 2 shots od antibiotics at the doctor today...It has been a rough 24 hrs...Sorry so long, I had to vent.

That is not pathetic, kitties are members of your family, I am sorry. Happy Bday you your DC though!

Hey! Good to see you on here again.  I'm sorry your cat died. I would be devastated if one of my dogs died. 

My good friend's daughter got tubes and she was so happy with that decision-the "surgery" was extremely quick.  I hope that helps.

 Hey There! Nope, we are living in Iowa for good. Our house is **STILL** for sale there though. We have an offer, fingers crossed!

I love Raiden's mohawk! Jared gives Odyn one after every bath!

How are things there? I miss the weather & the mountains!

Thanks! Your little guy is so cute.  I can't believe they are so big now.  Things are great here. The weather is nice and it's much more fun to be outdoors with him at this age.  How are you liking Iowa?Was Jared able to find a job?  I'll keep my fingers crossed about the offer. Let me know what happens!
