Legit work at home jobs

Anyone know of any? Preferably ones you don't have to pay to start...TIA.

Re: Legit work at home jobs

  • I work from home twice a week and have been with my company for almost 4 years. Most "real" work at home jobs are regular companies that offrer you to work from home after you've been with them for awhile.

Do know that once I have this baby and will be most likely working from home 100%, I still need to put the baby in daycare. I can't do both.

  • Depending on your background you might want to check with your local hospitals whether they have medical transcripting, or know of companies that offer this service with home workers. A friend of ours did this earlier this year and loves it, though it is bona fide work at a computer several hrs a day. I'm not sure what background, training or costs are associated with it but it might be a lead.

This. I work from home after moving away from my corporate HQ for my husband's job and they wanted me to stay. It's a dream, but I could never do it with a kid here. I'll be quiting in August to be a SAHM.

  • My DH works from home most days. He does the accounting etc for the restaurants we own and runs a business which is primarily online. We bought a half ownership in it two years ago.

I have been considering doing daycare - just enough to pay for health insurance as DH is self employed and I like expensive health insurance. (My district currently pays about $10,000 a year for my medical.)
