Full Moon...

    Ah yes. I'll be making blood sacrifices and dancing naked in a field of wildflowers in honor of Luna.

    That's an old wives tale. I did go into labor under a full moon, but I was the only girl in labor in L&D that night. That place was empty. It was also my due date.

    By "a field of wildflowers" I may or may not have been referring to the (indoor) Chicago Botanic Gardens. Wouldn't that be something to see on the cover of the Sun-Times... "CRAZY PREGNANT WOMAN DANCES NAKED IN HONOR OF LUNA... SAYS SHE 'JUST WANTS HER BABY' "

    It may be... But my mom works in L&D and says that whenever there is a full moon they are busier than most nights. Whether they are all true labors or not is undetermined, but hey it's something to reach for.

    Yeah, my DH is convinced that the baby is coming tomorrow for just this reason.  I have been dropping significantly over the last day or two (even though that doesn't mean anything) and he is convinced that the full moon is going to do the trick.  I just laughed.  My doctor is convinced that I'm going late, I'm not dialated/effaced, and still have my mp - yeah DH, sure, the full moon is going to do it!  Silly DH....
