Anyone not find out the baby's heart rate

I had my first ultrasound yesterday and the doctor didnt seem to measure the baby's heart rate?  We saw the heart beat and he said that everything looks good and gave us a picture.  I just noticed that a lot of people post how many beats per minute the heart is beating.

I didn't!  I am fine with it - baby was fine.  They don't measure BPM until the 12 week appt.

I asked. They measured BPM for me at 6wks, and 9wks....

Ok good to know.  Thanks!  I was just curious because a lot of people seem to post BPM so I wasn't sure if it was just my doctor or not.

I didn't get a record of bpm at 6w4d but I did today at 7w4d

I did not find out.  The doctor said everything looked good, and if he did give me a number I am sure I would have spent days analyzing it.  I am sure we will find out at our next u/s at 10 weeks.

They didn't at the ultrasound but they did tell me once i have my next monthly appt and they used the doppler.

I definately wanted to know what it was a found out both at 5w and 8w. At 5 weeks it was 98 which is consitered low and it was concerning but then at 8w it was 174 and perfect! Its an important piece of info in my opinon and my doctor felt it was impt too.

We didn't find out the rate, other than them saying it's "strong," which is all I needed to know!

I only found out bc one of the pictures they gave me was of the heartbeat (the graph and a "section" at the heart going strong at 171) and it said how fast it was beating on the photo. But they just said it was fine and didn't tell us what it was.
