Measuring big

I went in for my 26 week ob appointment and I was measuring 25 weeks, well I went in for my 28 week appointment and now I am measuring 31 weeks. So I jumped from 25 weeks to 31 weeks in a 14 day period of time.

 

They are sending me for an u/s next week to measuring the baby and check my anmiotic fluid. My dr didn't seem too concerned, but now I am worried.

 

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I measured big at my last appointment. I am measuring a week ahead. My doctor wasn?t concerned at all either so I?m not concerned

I am measuring 4 weeks ahead, and everything is fine. It is good that you are having an u/s to check it out, but I am sure its okay. Baby probably just had a growth spurt.

i was measuring a week big before through week 34 - then all of a sudden I was right on track.  i'm now measuring 36 weeks.

At my 22wk appt, baby was measuring 23wks. And at my 25wk appt she was measuring 26wks. She's been a week ahead consistently now but the Dr isn't phased by it. He just says if she gets "huge" in the end he'll take me early. It makes me feel a lil bit better about my gigantic belly though.

At my 30 week appointment I was measuring 30 at my 32 week appointment I was measuring almost 38. So in 2 weeks the baby when up 8 weeks. I had a growth ultrasound and she was measuring a few days ahead on somethings and her legs where 3 weeks ahead. I go in on Thursday and will go from there.

at 22 weeks i measured 23, at 26 weeks i measured 29, now at 30 weeks i am measuring 32 weeks  (so still ahead, but not as ahead).

A LOT of it has to do with baby's position, fluid, and your general body makeup.  It is good they are checking you, but it seems to be pretty common so I wouldn't worry
