Ewww... no way I could sit for 3 hours. Ours is 1 hour. It is one hour on Sundays as well. And 15-20 minutes of that is awesome Christian Rock music. I love it!
I am butting in.... Sallie so you guys really like the Fellowship? We have driven past several times and have thought about trying the church out. Is the sermon televised or is it live?

Sounds like a busy weekend. Have fun!
Yeah, there is no way that I could hang with that either, hence going to regular mass (one hour) on Sunday.
I'm glad that you found a place you like. Is it that giant new one?

It is a live pastor, everyone wears jeans (including the pastor, lol), they serve Starbucks coffee and you are allowed to bring it in the service with you... all the little things really add up to us just really feeling comfortable there. The music is beautiful and interesting and I catch myself singing the songs all week. Something I would never do with "normal" church music. You should come on Saturday with us! We are going at 4:45. The new series is called "Miracles" and sounds interesting.
I am not a churchy person at all so I am surprised at my level of commitment to FOTP. LOL

We can't make it Saturday but we definitely want to try it out soon!
Re: Ahem....testing 1, 2, 3 *JESS*
What's up chicka?
I saw you call me out on 6-12... are you ready to rumble?
Lol, I kind of figured that was what made you show up
What are your Easter plans? Did ya'll ever find a church?
Yep!
We go to Fellowship of the Parks - it is non-demoninational. We really like it. We have been 8 times in a row! That is a record for us.
We are going to Easter service on Saturday to beat the crowd and then we will have Easter lunch on Sunday with Mitch's family.
What are ya'll doing?
My mother would give me some sort of award if I went to church 8 consecutive times.
My mom, dad, and grandmother are coming up tomorrow and one of my brothers is coming on Friday.
Friday we are planting flowers, swim lessons Saturday, and Sunday will be Mass and eating.
I would kill myself if I had to go on Saturday. For Catholics that is the Easter Vigil and Mass lasts like 3 hours.

Yes we love it. The nursery is great.

Jess - I am not sure how new it is. I think 2 or 3 years. It is off of Beach. It is big but not huge.
We went to the Met (might be what you are thinking of), it is close to your house.... and we didnt like it.
Yes! You are right, I am thinking of the Met. I've heard that one is a little cult-y ;P
I'm glad you found such a neat place. It sounds great!
