3rd Trimester

does consistently measuring a week ahead mean that i'm actually a week ahead?

I know when i ovulated, and it's a week before the standard "wheel" predicts, so i'm convinced my due date is a week earlier than what is projected. Every time i go for a prenatal, i'm measuring exactly one week ahead. what do you think?

Re: does consistently measuring a week ahead mean that i'm actually a week ahead?

  • who knows.  I have been measuring 2 weeks ahead for a while now.  I know when I O'd and the EDD they have is only 2 days off from what I think.  I'm hoping that means this one will come on time! (DD was two weeks late)

  • I was consistently measuring ahead with my last pregnancy and delivered only one day early.

The fundal measurements aren't all that accurate for telling how far along you are.  It's more to make sure you're growing at a consistent rate.  What have your ultrasounds said?

  • If you know when you ovulated, that is more accurate than the stupid wheel
