Finally! Some progress

I'm 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced. My dr doesn't think I'll have the baby this week, which is fine since I have 2 weeks to go, but she said maybe next week.

Here's to hoping her guess is right!

Yeah, I knew someone who was 4 cm dilated for a week, so I know it happens. But STILL! 80% effaced is a big deal, right?

Whether or not it means I'm getting ready to have this thing, LIE to me and tell me it will be any day now!

i have been 50% effaced for well over 2 weeks but as of last friday i was also 2 cm dilated! so..... not sure what any of that means... i go to the doc again on friday the 10th! i hope for more progress but not too much more i want to make it 2 more weeks for sure!!
