identify my pain

When I drive home from work in the AM I have about a 1hr15min commute in normal traffic.  The entire time time I was driving home I kept on getting these cramps/pains that would come in intervals.  Every 5min or so my side/side of my stomach would tighten and a pain would shoot through.  The only way to describe it was it felt like the pains you get when you are terribly hungry.  I am not sure if it was BH or what it was.  I am pretty sure it wasn't RLP just because of how routinely it was happening.  I have never felt anything like this in my prior pregnancy, but I know each one can be different.  A couple of times it hurt so bad that I wanted to pull over, but couldn't.  I ended up going home putting my feet up and resting/sleeping.  The issue resolved itself after 2 hours or so, but I was just shy of calling my OB.  Do you ladies have any thoughts on what this was?  Have you experienced anything similar?

Re: identify my pain

  • I have a lot of cramping and my ob said that it is most likely bh contractions. She said that not everyone experiences bh contractions with the tightening and what not and that sometimes it can manifest itself as cramping. I get it when I change positions or when I stand up.
