I just got red pepper in my eye

I was chopping peppers for dinner and it sprayed on me! OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH

I decided that earned me a break from chopping for a few minutes.

    Ouch!!!  (contemplates buying red peppers even though feels very sorry for hula right now)

    You should Carly (buy the peppers, that is) (although you should feel sorry for me too. Because OOOOOW) they smell amazing. I can't wait to eat this dinner. I don't even normally LIKE peppers and they smell fantastic

    Youch! Reminds me of my 1st date w/ DH. I ordered fresh jalapenos and when I cut into one it splashed me in the eye. I went the rest of the night w/ makeup on only one eye ;)

    I picked them up! My mom sent me home with my fave onion dip yesterday (they don't sell it near me) so i bought a pepper variety pack (pre-sliced b/c of your story!).  Now I have red/yellow/orange/green pepper strips and no fear of eye contamination.  I hope your eye is feeling better by now :)
