I'm 13 hours away, how the hell does one do this? Especially looking for a rental. The newspaper and craigslist seem to be my only options...

Also, if you know of any local universities, you can go on their housing websites and they have all kinds of places available for rent (these are off campus locations obviously)

Or try calling an apartment locator that is local to where you are moving?
