Dog is staaaring at me. What does this mean?

Okay, so I am on Mat leave and the dog has been fed, has water, can go out at will (dog door) but has been staring at me all morning. I've given her treats. She's not begging. She's just staring at me.She slept for awhile on the couch next to me, (I'm in the recliner) but she is just staring at me again. FREAKING ME OUT. Like, am I about to have the baby and you know it? She never really noticed or acted differently before. I think she's totally pissed like, "Great... another thing to take attention away from me!" She's such a spoiled dog. OR... maybe she just wants to go into the office with me like she usually does.

My dog does this sometimes, too. I think she just wants attention. I keep saying "What? WHAT?" until she sighs, as if to say "You just don't get it" and lays down.

She loves you....My dog does this too....mostly when I'm getting in the shower or something...kinda weird...

Hmm, I'm going with the confused "why are we not at the office..." look.  Or the I'm spoiled, your hands are free", pet me look...

maybe she wants to go for a walk?  or to play w/ some toys?  that's what mine does.  although he also "talks" to you until u hit that magic word that signals what it is he wants.

Our 2 dogs do the exact same thing.  DH thinks they DO know something is going on, and they're unsettled by it.  They stare at me all the time and they seem super needy lately, too.  I feel like one of those news shows where the old lady tells about how her little dog or cat starts lying down by her head all the time, and the next week she has a stroke.  They just KNOW.

My dog does this too, and it drives me crazy! If I'm on the couch, she'll just sit on her bed and stare at me. I have no idea why or what it is she wants. It does seem to be happening more often lately, too.

If she wants to play, she usually brings a toy over and if she wants to be petted, she'll sit next to me and look up at me all cute-like. This staring thing just confuses me.

My dog and cat have also been acting funny the past few weeks. My dog is super needy now and is always following me around, or wanting to lay with me...sometimes he sits on the floor next to the bed and just stares. The cat, who is Mr. Independent has been sleeping in the bedroom with us on the chest at the end of the bed, and has also been staying close by. I'm sure they know somethings going on, I don't look or act the same as I used to...They almost seem worried for me..animals are a lot smarter than we give them credit for.
