3rd Trimester

all this talk of episiotomies vs. tearing...

is really starting to freak me out!!! i've heard the thoughts on both sides before, but now i'm just getting more scared of the whole damn thing.  it is the most natural process in the world to birth a baby, but why the heck does it have to potentially rip us apart and hurt so much??? OW....some days it just hits me what we're really all about to do!

    LOL. It's funny but true!

Don't worry. I've known mothers with some really bad cases (including my SIL who not only had a big tear or episiotomy but also found out she was allergic to the stitches), and they have all fully recovered.

  • It's my number one fear in the entire birth/pregnancy/recovery process. I can hardly talk about it...
