apple juice for constipation?

i remembered when i worked at a daycare in college, one of the mothers told me she would mix a little bit of apple juice with water to help her infant when he was having trouble pooping.

have any of you ladies tried apple juice for yourselves?

I have found it works like a charm!

If that doesn't work well enough though, add a little prune juice to get the party started.

beware- for some people apple juice CAUSES constipation... some it does not.  Same goes for babies.

prunes are the way to go - or prune juice.  They helped me a lot when i was pg with my son and constipated.

Cranberry Juice works for me.  A little too well sometimes.
