anyone heard from ashalsup?

I know she had a lot of progress and was having her membranes stripped.... I haven't seen her post lately but I could have just been on at different times.  Anyone seen her or heard anything?

Unfortunately I am still here! lol

I have a doctor's appointment today which he will be stripping my membranes again, apparently last weeks did not work. Also my BP was high at my last appointment, so he informed me that if it was high again today I will be getting induced by the end of the week. (FYI I have not had a high BP the entire pregnancy until last Tuesday!)

I am kind of scared for an induction and would rather labor come on its own, so keep your fingers crossed that the second membrane stripping today will do its job! I am hoping that I will go into labor before my induction date.

Good luck!!! I hope it works for you!! They are inducing me at 39 weeks if I haven't delivered yet and I would rather go on my own too.  Im almost 4 cm and 50 effaced so im pretty positive.  Update us after your appt. and good luck!

I can't believe you are already 4cm! At my hospital once you have reached the 4cm mark they make you go to L&D for an induction. (I have no idea why). Sound like you are well on your way to going into labor naturally before the 39 week mark. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Just curious...why are they inducing you when you hit 39 weeks?

I will be sure to post as soon as I get home this afternoon. My appt. is at 12:30pm (west coast).
