How and when to explain to a 18 month old

So my DD will be 2 when the new baby comes.  How are you ladies planning on the adjustment or what did you do that worked well?

I was hoping to see some answers too.  My little guy will be 22 months when the baby is born.  We have a book that we read to him called "Im a big brother!"
