Membrane stripping question

I'm 38 wks and 2 days and on Thurs I have a doc appointment. I'm currently 1-2cm, 50% eff and -1 station. Do you think he will strip my membranes if I request it?

    Good question....I want to know the answer too....  I'm 1 cm dialated, 80% effaced and -1 station

    Mine tried today, and I'm 1cm dilated, and baby's still high... couldn't hurt to ask.
